Posting Videos

Posting a video is slightly more complicated than posting pictures, but there are also several ways to do it.
They way I liked the best was to upload the video to YouTube and then access those videos by clicking the action icon in your post toolbar. Because blogger and youtube are both on the same google account it makes it SUPER easy. Just click "my youtube videos".

Uploading a video to YouTube is NOT hard to do at all. On your youtube homepage you will see an upload button at the top right.. from there just follow the directions.
**BE SURE TO MAKE YOUR VIDEO PUBLIC. IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS, DR. TRENCH WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE YOUR VIDEO.
If you upload your video this way this is how your video will appear like this on the blog post.

The other way is to upload your video STRAIGHT from your saved files on your computer and skip youtube altogether. In order to do this you will click the action button again and upload your video from your files. It will then publish it on your post. If you do it that way your video will appear like this on your blog.

as you can see they are a little different.

The last way you can post your video is by posting the link to it. In order to do this you click the link icon and paste your URL in the appropriate spot.. If you do it this way your post will look like this

*If you're wondering how I did the voiceover in the first video-- I used iMovie on my mac... I uploaded the video from my files, recorded the voiceover, and then resaved the video. I also cropped the video to make it the length I wanted, and to make it show the part of my original video that I wanted it to show. If you want more info on this you can let me know that too.

Posting Cumulative Records

There are several ways to post CRs. The easiest way is to click on the icon of a picture in your toolbar (the one next to the link button) and find the CR you want to post in your blog. If your CR is too small there are ways to adjust the size once you post it (the one shown below is large).

Sometimes the blog can be semi-difficult and will only want you to post a picture in the jpeg, gif, or png formats. If this is the case for you... you will need to open your CR on your desktop and save it as one of these formats (jpeg is fine) and then you can access it on your post.

If you have any issues whatsoever or if what I said didn't make sense to you feel free to ask me!
